1. Introduction

This document outlines the health and safety policies and procedures for all personnel operating on civil engineering sites managed by SafeInduct Ireland. Compliance with these policies is mandatory for all employees, contractors, and visitors.

2. General Safety Rules

  • All personnel must wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in designated areas. This includes hard hats, high-visibility clothing, and steel-toed boots.
  • Report any accidents, incidents, or near-misses to your supervisor immediately.
  • Do not operate any machinery or equipment unless you are trained and authorized to do so.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area to prevent slip, trip, and fall hazards.

3. Emergency Procedures

In the event of an emergency, remain calm and follow the instructions of the designated fire warden or site supervisor. Evacuate to the designated assembly point. Do not re-enter the site until it has been declared safe.
